In Florida, every city has the summer feel during most parts of the year. But Sarasota is a gem year-round!
What you can’t see in the pictures is the blistering heat (as is anywhere in Florida), but throughout the entire weekend, there was a really nice breeze which made wearing a suit manageable. I will say, it was hard to keep my hair in place with some of the wind in these shots!
I wore this navy blue Zara suit to a wedding there. It’s been a while since I got my hands on another navy suit, but I’m really loving the slim feel of this one. The best part is, it’s easy to move around in it. This is a suit you’ll see me wearing in the fall as well because it’s so versatile and you can be worn in so many different situations.
I’ve also included some additional photos of outfits, beach shots, and quick breakfast snaps (one from First Watch). There’s also a pretty classic pizza joint called Joey D’s where we had some late night pizza and wings. It’s exactly what we were looking for.
Oh and if you’re in the Brandenton area, stop by Teresa’s. We tried going there last year, but they were remodeling… except it wasn’t a normal remodel. The restaurant was getting a makeover from none other than Restaurant Impossible! Needless to say, they did a fantastic job. Their breakfast is phenomenal. It has the home cooking feel with a sunny cafe environment.
Summer is almost ending, but in Florida, it pretty much goes into October. But nothing beats the classic “summer vibes” you get from a trip during the heart of summer. This was one of them. Hope you enjoy!
If you’re planning on visiting the Gulf Coast of Florida, Sarasota/Bradenton is a great place to make a stop! If you’re planning on going, leave a comment or reach out to me on social.
