Sometimes you meet people who are really doing amazing things. I met the founders of Shop Inheritance. Their goal is simply to help rural third-world countries gain opportunities and jobs. So they have launched this endeavor to help them achieve that goal.
They make amazing pocket tees for both men and women. I actually love the quality of the shirt and the design of the pocket. I opted for a pirate ship pocket (because I’m obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean which fits in perfectly with this location: Disney Springs). It’s easily one of my favorite shirts and I hope it never fades.
Always find ways in which you can help those in need. You don’t have to do what Shop Inheritance may be doing. What matters is what impact you have on the people around you.
- Maybe that person asking for that dollar actually will use it for food and not whatever your pre-conceived notion might say
- Maybe you can let that person in front of you during traffic since no one is going anywhere.
- Maybe you can donate that extra $2 for that foundation at the checkout register instead of wasting it on candy.
Start there this New Year.
Then maybe, you’ll want to do more. And you can cross that bridge when you get there. Because there are a ton of volunteer opportunities you can help with.
